SUMMER CRUISING WITH DIAMOND JACK
It’s so good to have you back on board, Diamond Jack family!
After an uncertain start to the season, we are so thrilled to be welcoming everyone back. The public touring season will continue through September 6, with some changes to pricing.
The new August pricing is as follows:
- Adults (Ages 13-54): $15
- Adults 55+: $10
- Kids (Ages 4-12): $10
- Babies (Ages 3 and under): Free
Tours are offered Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tour times are:
- 1:00 p.m.
- 2:30 p.m.
- 4:00 p.m.
- 5:30 p.m.
The Diamond Jack crew will continue to practice safe measures in the wake of COVID-19. Our chairs are spaced to allow for ample social distancing, our crew will be wearing masks and PPE, and patrons are required to wear masks. Please call (313) 843-9376 for more information.

Still Available: Private Charters With COVID Pricing
A private charter is the perfect way to cap off summer. Our spacious boats are available for private rent until October 31, and COVID pricing is in effect.
You and up to 99 guests may enjoy a private tour on the Diamond Belle, which has room for 100 people and allows for social distancing. The hourly rate of $700 in the daytime and $1200 in the evening represents a significant savings over last year’s rates.
Private charters include plenty of room to roam on the boats, flexible departure sites and times, and catering onboard. We also have a fully stocked bar with beer and wine available onboard! From BBQ to Mediterranean style, your guests will be satisfied with the menu. Plus, you won’t have to worry about cooking or procuring an outside caterer! Click here to check out the catering menu.

Featured Tour Site: Gordie Howe Bridge
The spotlighted tour site for this month is still in progress, but still quite the sight to see!
The bridge will span the Detroit River between the United States and Canada. It’ll run about 1.5 miles and have six lanes—three in each direction. Once it’s completed, it will be among the top five longest bridges in North America.
The Gordie Howe International Bridge is being hailed by MDOT as “the largest and most ambitious bi-national border infrastructure project along the Canada-United States border.”
The behemoth is expected to cost $5.7 billion, with connections to freeways in both countries and border inspection plazas on both sides. There will also be a “multi-use path” for pedestrians and cyclists.
In honor of its puck-slinging namesake, the towers of the bridge will reflect the curvature of a hockey stick in a slapshot. The towers will also reach 750 feet in height above the water.
Currently, the bridge is under construction, but you will be able to see the action from your Diamond Jack riverboat. And no rush—the project is expected to be completed in 2024! On a Diamond Jack cruise, we’ll cruise around both sides of the border so you can see the action.
