School Field Trips Along the Detroit River
Do you ever wish you could get out of the classroom and teach your kids in a more fun and exciting environment? The day-to-day grind can get monotonous pretty fast and students can start to feel bored with the same old curriculum each day. Getting out of your comfort zone to go on an exciting, yet educational, adventure might be right up your alley.
Field trips can be tremendously beneficial for both the teachers as well as the students. Not only do they encourage education in a fun and interesting setting instead of a set curriculum, it can also give students a chance to learn in other environments. The next time you consider taking your students on a road trip or field trip, especially to see the sites, consider taking them “out to sea” with Diamond Jack Detroit river tours!
Come aboard any three of our vessels for a chance to see all kinds of historical landmarks along the Detroit river including Renaissance Center, Belle Isle, U.S. Coast Guard Stations, Ambassador Bridge, Fort Wayne, J.W. Westcott II Floating Post Office, TCF Center, the cities of Detroit and Windsor and much more.
