Our captains were happy to see all of you come out and spend a day with us on the magnificent Detroit River. Patrons like yourselves make the job well worth it. There’s no better feeling than providing our customers with an entertainingly interactive sightseeing tour.
Speaking of our summer sightseeing tours, don’t miss out on your last chance to ride with Diamond Jack this season! Our sightseeing cruises run Thursday-Sunday at 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm now through September 1st.

Depending on your interests, we have three captivating sightseeing tour options. Sightseeing tours depart from either the Detroit Rivard (Cullen) Plaza Dock or Wyandotte Bishop Park Dock. The dock you sail from directly stems from your summer sightseeing tour choice.

Private Charters Sailing Through October 31st
July was jumping. From family reunions to charity events, our private charter boats were constantly packed with great times and even better people! We had the pleasure of having Michigan Special Olympics, Leader Dogs for the Blind and many more organizations on board our boats this past month. June asked our captains, “What is the farthest round-trip the boats are capable of traveling without needing more fuel or supplies? Has there been any thoughts of trips beyond the Detroit River?”
The answer to that captivating question is as follows:
The question of fuel & supplies is somewhat of a moot point. The boats are constricted by the US Coast Guard and there are limitations based on equipment carried on board. For example – to travel offshore any farther than 1 mile – the US Coast Guard requires more lifesaving equipment. Based on the fleet that 99% of our business is in the river – it would make no sense to carry the extra equipment. If we were not constricted by US Coast Guard the boat could travel approximately 600-700 miles before needing fuel.

Yoga on the Riverfront
Friday, Aug. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Join Urban Solace studio for Yoga on the Riverfront. Classes are held Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. and Friday morning at 10 a.m. in the wetland area of Milliken State Park. Classes are free and provided by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy. No registration is necessary for the yoga classes. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats and water. Free parking is available at Cullen Plaza (1340 Atwater St.)
Rockin’ on the Riverfront
Friday, August 2, 9, 16 7:30pm – 10:00pm
This free concert series held along the Detroit River, in partnership with Detroit’s Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX-FM, is the perfect Friday night activity to wind down from the week. A new artist performs each Friday starting with Loverboy (Aug. 2), Jon Anderson (Aug. 9), and Little River Band (Aug. 16).
