Even though our charter season officially starts May 1st, we’ve been working all offseason to give you the best cruising yet. And don’t miss out on the opportunity to save BIG on charter prices. We are offering 20% off your boat charter price if you pay when full by March 1st. That means if you book the Diamond Belle for three hours, you’d be saving a minimum of $600!
Don’t miss out on this limited time offer. Call our Detroit office at (313) 843-9376 to start booking your private charter today! You can choose between our three famous Detroit River boats: Diamond Jack, Diamond Queen and Diamond Belle.
We can provide soda, snacks, beer and wine at our snack shops on board. However, no party is complete without a full spread of food for all the guests. We offer an extensive catering menu with several options to choose from. Sign up for “Motown” BBQ menu and dive into angus beef hamburgers, chicken wings, baked beans, corn on the cob and potato salad. Salivate over our “Taste of Italy” menu or keep things simple with our “Hors D’oeuvres” special menu. No matter what the appetite is, Diamond Jack’s can fill it.
The charter and sightseeing tour seasons are just around the corner! Our preparations are already ramping up. We’ve scheduled “fit outs” for all our boats starting April 1st. During this process, we will water down and repaint the boats, clean all the carpeting, and have everything thoroughly inspected by the Coast Guard. From the engines to the life jackets, the Coast Guard combs through every element of our riverboats to make sure you are safe for your Detroit River fun.
It may not sound all that exciting, but we know it means the season is right around the corner! Whether you’re hosting a corporate outing, a wedding or a fundraiser, Diamond Jack’s charters guarantee everyone never-ending fun and long-lasting memories.

Highlights of the Tour: Milliken State Park
If you are taking the Detroit Tour, your tour starts the moment you step out of the car. With the tour departing from the Detroit Rivard Plaza Dock, you will be a few steps away from the recently renovated Milliken State Park and Harbor. As the first urban park in Michigan, the state park is named after former Michigan Governor William G. Milliken.
The park features 31 acres of green sanctuary in the urban landscape. With walking and biking trails right along the Detroit River, it has become a haven for active Detroiters. Along the RiverWalk portion of the park are fishing platforms and a memorial to Peter Stroh. Stroh was a noted conservationist who was at the forefront of reclaiming Detroit’s riverfront for its residents.
With covered pavilions and grills open to the public, it has become a popular destination for city events, picnics and company outings. One of the first things you’ll notice upon entering the park is the 63-foot lighthouse that serves as a replica to the Tawas Point Lighthouse. It is the only representative of a true Victorian-style era station on the Great Lakes.
Milliken State Park was a landmark development in Detroit. It opened the doors for more agencies to push for urban parks and other nature conservatories. If you are taking the Detroit Dock tour, make sure to arrive early or leave some time after to explore this beautiful park.
