Also boarding from Bishop Park in
Wyandotte, the DIAMOND JACK departs for our nostalgic Bob-Lo
Tour. For almost 100 years thousands of people rode the famous
Bob-Lo Steamers
Columbia and
Ste. Claire,
ferries or their
own craft, to enjoy a day of amusements, picnics, swimming and
dancing on the Canadian island of
Bob-Lo. On our cruise to Bob-Lo you'll view
the new
exclusive island community of waterfront mansions, now only
accessible to its residents by ferry. As we sail past, if
you look closely, the last remnants of the once famous amusement
park can still be seen. Follow the same waters that the
Bob-Lo Steamers
once did. Along the way you will pass ships, pleasure
craft and miles of scenic coastline and waterways. Enjoy sunny
skies and cool breezes as you pass by the island and riverside
landscapes of Bob-Lo, Grosse Ile and Amherstberg, while
listening to historic narration and interesting anecdote.
